Statement of Duties

Patient Funding Alternatives is seeking a senior accountant who will ensure that our financial records are accurate and up to date. This person will manage the cash and accounting control policies to ensure the Company follows best practices. 

Responsibilities 

• Financial records: Maintain and update financial records, including general ledgers
• Financial reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets
• Financial analysis: Analyze financial documents and prepare financial analyses. Analyze financial statements for discrepancies and alert the CFO if necessary.
• Coordinate semi-annual audits and assist the CFO in running audits.
• Payroll: Record and verify transactions, and produce payroll
• Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance including financial and bank statements
• Monetary policies: Ensure that the company's monetary policies are applied accurately

Skills 

• 5 years of accounting experience
• Effective communication
• Strong leadership
• Critical thinking

• Proficiency with Quickbooks
• Advanced Excel skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• They may also have their CPA, or be a CPA candidate
